Is there a secure vault to store passwords in Android?

The application uses databases encrypted with a unique password for each user. The user receives a password upon registration. Is there some kind of secure storage to keep the password clear? The password must be stored on the device so that there are no problems in offline mode.

And the standard AccountManager does not fit in any way: create an account via addAccountExcplicitly and bind the setPassword password to it?

KeePass + any cloud (I have DropBox)
Exists for all platforms, open source.

In iOS, KeyChain is used for this, a quick Google finds an analogue for android developer.android.com/reference/android/security/KeyChain.html I don’t know how usable and safe it is.
