Is there a ranking of the safest/eye friendly monitors (or all-in-ones)?

How safer is the iMAC on the eyes than the average PWM-backlit TN-matrix monitor?

Within measurement error. The type of matrix does not affect, the quality does - if the viewing angle is too small and the eyes look at a picture of a different color, if the image is cloudy (fuzzy), if the screen is dirty, if the backlight frequency coincides or slightly diverges from the lighting frequency (here, in general, all these overlays and run-ups a bit complicated, or maybe I just can’t explain briefly, only long, but lazy :)).

Average is very cheap.
TN is generally the cheapest.
The level of cost of Macs allows them to be compared with much more expensive and much better hardware.
So maybe the other way around?
A monitor for money comparable to a Mac, but a non-Mac will have much better PWM, etc.
By type of matrix:
TN - fast, good for viewing fast-moving events, such as games.
*VA - has deep blacks, good for texts.
IPS - good color reproduction, better for image processing.
But this is "average weather in the hospital."
A correct comparison if you look at what you can take for the price of Mac.

@Anderseno

choose ccfl backlight, not LED
light-emitting diodes burn out your eyes. verified
