Is there a plus of taking out the picture in a separate model?

There is an article with a preview of the picture, does it make sense to put it in a separate model with reference to the article. Or select a field for files in the model.
Interested in pros and cons.
And does it greatly affect performance?

If there is only one picture, store it in the article model. If there are many of them - in a separate one.
Make a bench.
