Is there a normal unity menu replacement in ubuntu?

In Ubuntu, everything seems to be fine. You can even get used to the application panel which is on the side.
But this is a crazy menu, where you have access to everything, but not to the list of applications - just some kind of tin. For some reason, they stuffed all sorts of online sources, fonts and other heresy.
The source filter works until the next menu opening, then everything is reset again. What kind of marketing shuttleworth bullshit is this?
Is there any replacement for this menu? Without whistles and fakes.
The main thing is to have a list of applications (and by category too) and fit into the overall interface. Well, to be simpotichnenko.

mate) kde.
I tried to sit on the unit a couple of weeks ago, endured it for three days and took it to hell, where it turned out to be much more productive and more convenient

Open the menu. Go to the apps tab (stylized A). Click "Filter results" in the top right corner. Select "Search plugins" - joxi.ru/Q2KqDbPsXNjVrj
Then turn off the unnecessary.
Rejoice.

How about deleting everything that is not needed (I did it myself)?
Install synaptic, go in, look for everything that has unity-scope in the name, delete it according to the situation. It even works faster)
The menu in GNOME3 is similarly arranged, there are applications right away.
In terms of performance, Unity is very good, I tried GNOME3 and Cinnamon for a long time, both are slower, this is noticeable on a 4k monitor (especially Cinnamon).
