Is there a lightweight WYSIWYG Markdown editor?
Are there good WYSIWYG Markdown editors? I myself could only find SimpleMDE , but I would like to find others. The main requirement is not an overloaded interface (approximately the same as that of SimpleMDE. That is, editors with the interface of older versions of tinymce will not work).

I don't think you will find what you want. It's easier to take and make it yourself / use SimpleMDE (why didn't it fit?)
The essence of Markdown is precisely in an intuitive and readable markup. We need a list - ok, no html / bb / any other codes - clear and simple:
* element in the list
* this is clear and simple
This is the "philosophy" of Markdown, therefore a WYSIWYG editor is not needed for it.
I’m looking for such an editor, but under the description I was surprised that there are no such things, my hands are already itching to assemble it myself. Question to the author, did you find anything?
But in general, banal Google at your request gives several options at once
