Here I wrote in the input field (456+754)*5/3.2
Is there a program that will run on the hot button, calculate the selection and return to the same place (456+754)*5/3.2=1890.625?
Those. I select the expression, press the button, and the result of its calculation is added to the selection. Absolutely stupid and simple program, I do not believe that someone has not written it yet. Especially since 5 years ago I met something similar for Windows.

If you are satisfied with a paid option (there is a "free" one in the open spaces), which writes the result of the calculation instead of the highlighted formula, then try this extension for PopClip.

By the way, a very convenient application with a bunch of extensions.
*UPD*: didn't notice the line " Include '=' to put the result at the end; for example '14/4=' becomes '14/4=3.5' ", that is, this is what should suit you )

Press ctrl + space or whatever you have bound to the Spotlight call, write (paste) the formula and enjoy the result. Only rational numbers are written with a comma, not a dot.
