Is there a good modern program for creating fonts?

There are all rendered letters in Cyrillic and Latin, all letters are of the same size. The difficulty is to save all the styles in a very precise format (that is, exactly as they are without saving each character in eps or ai, but directly inserting the curve from the cache into the program).
(For a day I went through Ru and foreign forums and did not find anything adequate.)
