Is there a free OS X server for developers?
question to the developers.
Colleagues, there used to be such a not very well-known feature that the OS X server was available for free download for developers who paid for a subscription. now there is time and a free poppy mini, I want to tinker with continuous integration, I’m looking for this free server in the development section and I can’t find it. Am I stupid somewhere, or is it a thing of the past?
I google, but some old discussions are no longer relevant there in terms of the structure of sections and links ...

As a separate release of the OS intended for installation on servers, Mac OS X Server ceased to exist in 2011 (the last version was Snow Leopard Server). Starting with Lion, Server is an app on the Mac App Store and is now $20.
Over the years, certain functions have been removed from this application, throwing them out altogether - like, for example, a mail server, a web server, etc. - or transferring to a client OS - this is what they did with update caching, Time Machine server, Xcode server, etc. The support section has a page with server feature statuses and alternative solutions .
Today, the Server app in the Mac App Store is only suitable for administering iOS devices under MDM (judging by the score of 1.7, users are not happy with this).
