Monitoring

Is there a free open site monitor?

You need to deploy a site monitoring system on your server. I can write my own, but before starting I wondered if there were ready-made solutions. The main functionality: according to the schedule or in turn, request the url of the necessary pages and, depending on the response code, inform about the unavailability of the site + web interface with auto-update of monitoring results. A cursory google did not give any results, all links to monitoring services, but to sensu.

means look.
1. munin - graphs are all things, aliard sends, configurable via apt has plugins
2. monit - no graphs there are more advanced aliards and autocorrection actions 3. nagios -
large enough
3. zabbix - the largest and most advanced has everything, but for 2- 3 server that from the cannon to the sparrows.
5. uptimerobot.com - if you need reports about the inaccessibility of the site, etc.
6. Yandex metric can also send.
4. nazamok.com - an excellent Russian service, especially in that it also looks for viruses, but is rather sharpened for them. now paid. but I think there is a free part.

Have a look at cabotapp , have been using it for quite some time, works great. Installing is not a problem - there are scripts for quick deployment.

monit is quite capable of doing this, and has a built-in webserver to see the status of everything at a glance.
You set up which sites to check, how often, what to do if the site is unavailable (send an email, execute a script)...

Zabbix has a fairly flexible customizable web monitoring, it can alert by response time, response code, the presence of a word on the page.
