Is there a difference between the tasks of enteprise development in .net and java?

Hello.
After analyzing vacancies in .net and Java, there was a strong impression that:
1) .net is used for real business processes for real companies. Those. there is a chain of supermarkets, there are suppliers, a warehouse, a cash register, accounting, logistics, here is a .net system that brings it all together and helps to manage and control. Also for all warehouses, ports, cafes, shops and more.
2) Java is used to build risk management systems, big data, end-to-end analytics, Ai forecasting systems, managing advertising activity from all channels, employee hiring forecasting systems, and the like.
Those. the difference is directly obvious - business process automation vs working with analytics and AI.
Is there any truth in this or am I just a victim of the selection? Watched on SPB.

There is no difference.
On what to implement the technical part to automate business processes - the architect and the customer decide. Do not confuse the technical implementation in a programming language (display a window, print a check) and the business task itself - to sell a product, find a client.
Enterprise tasks can be solved even in assembler, but their specificity is such that it is often necessary to add new functionality for minimal time and minimal money, which will be integrated with a minimum number of errors. .net and java fit this very well.
