Is there a correlation between programming language and intelligence?
Have such studies been carried out? With measuring IQ and compiling statistics? It would be interesting to read. Couldn't find anything.)

Naturally, this is not and cannot be.
All programming languages work in much the same way, with the exception of highly specific ones.
But you need to understand that highly specific languages are used in highly specific areas, where other highly specific knowledge is also needed, which can be a larger area than the language itself.
For a more or less relevant assessment, which will differ from a finger in the sky, it is necessary to clean the brain from ALL other knowledge, leaving only the programming language, and this is impossible. Therefore, whatever you are looking for - it will be nonsense.
I think you can evaluate the complexity of the language by the number of abstractions used or the thickness of the manual) So among natural languages, Russian or Japanese is considered to be complex, and English is relatively simple. Which, however, does not at all indicate the intellectual superiority of the Russians over the Anglo-Saxons.))
