Is there a clear guide to GDL (game description langauge)?

Good evening!
Suddenly it was necessary to do a bit of logic in programming, I was especially interested in GDL. Searching through many resources in various languages, failed to find anything worthwhile. Only instructions from the creators, Stanford University, where everything is described rather superficially.
I would like to read more about writing games, creating players in the game description language. If someone knows at least some resources, sources with this information, please share.

The English Wikipedia has a link to the language specification . But, I must disappoint you, no one uses GDL for games, this is a purely theoretical reflection on the topic "how to teach a computer to think." That is, you can write tic-tac-toe using GDL, but Tetris will no longer work.
