Is there a book on computer science for universities?
Hello! I will soon go to university (I plan to go to Poland) to study Computer Science, and to make it easier to understand later, I want to do it now. In fact, I have always been good at programming, I have been programming since I was 11 years old. I want to know more about how computers work and improve my knowledge of programming in general.
Recommend a good book on computer science.
I will be grateful!

Tanenbaum (networks, OS, PC architecture), algorithms (the same Skiena), well, the basics of mathematical analysis and probability theory for physics and mathematics schools (you can google it). In general, it is quite possible to run and study in a year. You may not even try very hard. Just read at night and that's it. Exams on this will be already taken at the university.
