Is the RAM suitable for a laptop?

I have a dell inspiron 1526 laptop with 2gb of ram. Supports up to 4GB. It costs one bar. You can install another one.
And so the question.
If you buy another RAM but with a frequency of 800Hz (it costs with a frequency of 667Hz), will the RAM fit?

everything depends on the motherboard, there have been cases when two modules are absolutely identical in characteristics, but different manufacturers did not want to work together, and it happens when completely different modules get along perfectly

Correctly said above - it depends on the manufacturer. So take it only in the store to keep receipts :) I picked it up once, I was lucky 3 times.
