Is the playframework documentation good (exemplary)?
Good afternoon.
I have been writing PHP for six years. Recently, a strong desire to change the main working language. Decided to try C# and Java. I used to write a couple of elementary applications on each, but I didn’t deal with them much.
Tried C#. Good impressions, I riveted a simple ASP.MVC application in a day. Repelled by the fact that it’s a little expensive to write on it for yourself. Most of the libraries (if I call it correctly) that I needed were paid and cost a lot.
Decided to try Java. The same scenario - a small application for a day to distribute, see how it goes. Chose Playframework. And then something went wrong. He sat for half a day and ate moved from the beginning.
It's hard to read the documentation. It seems understandable separately, but together it does not fit in my head.
Java and C# are very similar. And I am confused by such a big difference in the learning process. At the same time, I can’t understand the specific reasons for my brakes with Java. And then the thought crept in, maybe the problem is in the framework?
Who came across this framework, tell me, what are your impressions of its docks? Can I say that I just chose the wrong framework to start learning? Or is it that I'm slowing down?
Bydy is very grateful for your thoughts on this.

Hello HaruAtari!
The Play Framework docks are not exemplary. A week ago, I started to understand it in conjunction with Scala and did not find everything in them, I had to climb into Scaladoc. True, before that I used Scala + Spray.io for a year, maybe because of this it was a little easier to understand Play.
I also tried using ASP.MVC, I did it for the sake of experimenting with todo list with AngularJS. In ASP.MVC, I did not like the lack of normal cross-platform (for me it is important). In Mono, it was not possible to start normally the first time, I had to read the docks and climb the forums, in the end everything started up, but after such a mess, I got tired of dealing with ASP.MVC. This was not the case with Play, it ran without problems on Windows as a standalone application and on Ubuntu as a standalone application and on Tomcat.
