Is the PDF document clearly visible on the e-book 8'?

Devices with a 9.7' screen are not available in stores. The largest screen is 8'. Who has it - is it convenient to read books on it (unformatted PDF), for example, Bruce Eckel Java Philosophy, etc. technical literature?

It is not very convenient to read pdf on an e-book. Firstly, the diagonal, in my opinion, is too small. Secondly, page viewing is jerky and becomes annoying over time. A tablet is more suitable for reading books in pdf format.

in my personal experience (PocketBook 624 6 '') it is quite convenient to read, but only for the case where there is only sequential reading page by page, if the book is needed as a reference, that is, to quickly find some kind of information, then it is very inconvenient, because The speed of the screen and the brains of all readers is, to put it mildly, too small.

I have a Kindle Paperwhite 6 "at the beginning, reading just the same Eckel was torture through small print, and somewhere in the quarter of the book I found on the reader the function of changing the screen position from vertical to horizontal with cutting the page into two parts, then reading went just fine)

visible more or less, but it's still much more convenient for me to read from a computer monitor

It won't be very good, because the diagonal is small and the resolution is not ice.
Personally, I took Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 for this matter, "put EbookDroid on it (there are a lot of useful features, such as automatic cropping of white margins to maximize the page content size, however, it is not easy to configure it, there are a lot of options and not the most user-friendly menu). More -less usable. If it were not 16:9, but at least 16:10, it would be even better. But
it will be really convenient only if the technique you use has a display approaching the size of A4.So far, from this I have found only the above a tablet on which reading PDF is an order of magnitude, if not two, more convenient than on 10 "tablets (on which, again, it is an order of magnitude more convenient to read than on e-books, and even with a smaller diagonal).
The disadvantages of my decision are the price, relatively frequent charging, dimensions. But you can actually read the PDF, and not try to read it.
