Is the MySQL book as up to date as possible. 3rd edition?

I just started learning databases, so I don't know which book to choose. Mysql 8 has already been released, and mysql 5 is in the book. If the book is outdated, then please advise literature on MySQL

actual and the book are incompatible in principle.
In books, just the basics and classics can be studied.
And relevant on the Internet from the documentation.
mysql 5.7 is also the current version in general and they are updated (supported) along with 8 in parallel.
But 8 naturally has big innovations/differences from 5.
