Is the Miranda messenger relevant and convenient at the moment?

I look towards the Miranda messenger, who will say what about the relevance and usability of this unit? Worth using? Or are there better options?

What do you understand by "usability"? It's just that everyone has their own priorities ...
And so ... I use Miranda to this day as a messenger for icq. Still lightweight and modular, I don’t notice any malfunctions.
At the expense of connecting modules for other messaging protocols, I won’t tell you because I don’t use it. New versions of Miranda are released, some bugs are removed, etc.
If you need it purely for icq, then it’s quite suitable (especially if you like to customize “for yourself”, so to speak, “constructor”), and the native client from icq is still relevant to this day (there even seems to be support for “calls” through it), and others, in particular, the mail agent supports icq (because they bought it).
In general, you can set up and communicate, especially if you want to "dig deeper into the settings", if not - stock client icq or ala messenger aggregator ala mail agent ... or the same qip, he seems to be still alive
