Is the Logitech MX 5500 Revolution keyboard still up to date?

As a long-term owner of the Logitech MX Revolution mouse, I consider it unique and still the best mouse I have ever held in my hands. And now I'm faced with the question of buying a keyboard.
I found a Logitech MX 5500 Revolution kit lying around in one store, and read some pretty good but old reviews about it .

Actually, the question itself is: is it worth buying the MX 5500 Revolution now at a rather biting price, or has something more worthwhile come out during this time? Or is this keyboard, like the MX Revolution mouse, unparalleled? )

PS I use peripheral devices for: motion design, sometimes writing code, writing prose and poetry, playing small unpretentious online toys, using various Adobe products, surfing and social networks. I don't play serious games.
