Is symfony 4 fundamentally different from symfony 3?

Hello. The knpuniversity website has a complete course on symfony 3 and some on symfony 4. If I take the symfony 3 courses, will it be difficult to switch to symfony 4 or should I start immediately with 4, are the two versions fundamentally different?
