Is such markup required when building a logo?

Question for professional graphic designers / logo makers.
untitled-2.png
In the presented logo, all possible distances / radii are carefully calibrated. What is the best editor to use for these calculations? Do these drawings help to make more beautiful and geometric correct logos? Do I understand correctly that such techniques were used back in the pre-computer era, when each logo was created taking into account such techniques for subsequent copying and competent transfer of the logo to other planes. Are such calculations necessary now?

Such things are not needed now, this is all pathos for presentations.
For high-quality work, you need to feel the proportions, composition, smoothness of lines, etc.
