Is Sphinx slower than MySql when doing simple queries?
Hello, I moved MySql and Sphinx services to an SSD drive, got a big increase in system performance as a whole. MySql simple queries (one field table of type INT) are executed very quickly, and similar queries on the same fields through Sphinx take much longer, and in general, after the transfer, I did not notice any acceleration of Sphinx queries.
Please tell me, is this normal? Before migrating to SSD, Sphinx was faster than Mysql.
