Is SpeedHack possible on Windows 7 x64?

Hello!
I want to know if it is possible to use an accelerator (SpeedHack) in Windows 7 x64?
For example, in CheatEngine 6.4 this function does not work.
Here is what is written on the official website for version 6.3:

Fixes for Cheat Engine 6.3 (June 13 2013):
Fixed dll injection for 64-bit targets (also fixes speedhack for 64-bit and windows 8)
