Is Spam Defense 1024 Dead?
I use exim + spam defense 1024 (local_scan). A long time ago, it worked like this: Yandex was ready to filter mail and say spam or not spam, but no more than 1024 good letters per day. At the same time, at least a million pieces of spam letters could go through.
company.yandex.ru/press_releases/2007/0914/index.xml
Some time ago, Yandex began to issue "X-Spam-Flag: OVER DAILY LIMIT". I check, on this day, about 500 letters were sent to Yandex for verification, 450 of them were spam. Those. out of the 1024 limit, I generated about 50 emails. But no, it doesn't work anymore.
Attempt number two. I take iptables, wrap calls to the Yandex server in general, hell knows where, and already from that distant server that has never worked with Yandex before, requests go to spam defense. The result hasn't changed. One letter goes through normally (is it a spam flag or not) and the limit is immediately exceeded, and in a minute it can work again. Although this ip has sent 10 requests in its entire life.
Spam defense 1024 is dying? What is it? Everyone at pdd.yandex.ru?
The Internet is silent.

Yes, Spam Defense is no longer being developed since summer 2012. I had to buy Kaspersky Anti-Spam. In general, it’s better to switch to the cloud, at least to the same pdd.yandex.ru
She died because Yandex opened mail for the domain and it is more interesting for him to sit with him.
Eh, it's a pity that you learn about such interesting things only after their death, but did you manage to find an alternative to this service? Only rspamd came to my mind , but this is a separate software product from Rambler.
Hello!
It is no longer possible to buy a license for the commercial version. This project will also be closed in 2014. Unfortunately, if the options with Yandex.Mail or Yandex.Mail for a domain do not suit you, then I can’t advise you anything else. I apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Yandex
Help Desk help.yandex.ru
finally died only last week
before it began to skip spam with the OVER DAYLY LIMIT flag (bypassed NAT requests to spam defense on a subset of 256 white addresses),
then the so-plus.yandex.ru domain was disabled, bypassed by adding the address 213.180.204.68 to hosts
now in general it doesn’t connect in any way, apparently 2014 has come :)
the authorities don’t want to switch to pdd, although everything has been set up for a couple of years, it remains to press 2 buttons for the final migration (transfer DNS records and agree with mail import, the script for user synchronization has been written and tested )
apparently we will read spam that breaks through primitive filters by sender (existence of a domain, mx, etc.), spf and graylisting
