React Native

Is React native in demand at the moment?

Good day, in general, the question is very simple, I just would like to hear the opinion of the RN developers themselves. The backend itself is developed (node.js, laravel). It was tempting to write for mobile phones, oh, how I didn’t like java, it’s cumbersome. Does it make sense to learn React native? Both for general development and for the prospects for further work.

It certainly makes sense!
Tools such as React Naitve, NativeScript and a few more are popular among web developers.
This allows them to make native (near-colonial) attachments without retraining.

Потянуло писать под мобилки, java ох как не понравилась, громоздкая.

On React Native you won’t like it even more, in your case I don’t advise (but you can try it for yourself).
As for the prospects, they definitely exist, the future is clearly in cloud technologies, and here the web is definitely ahead. Another question is when exactly sites / applications on the web view will replace the native - it is not known (perhaps never).

This is not an exchange. You don't have to learn the in-demand technology. Technology is still changing / new ones appear.
