Is PostgreSQL vertical scaling possible with GPU PG-Strom?
There is a PostgreSQL database of about 1TB of structured data, which is spinning on a machine with 60 cores, there is an assumption that in the future the server will not be enough, everything is clear with horizontal scaling, put another server and it's ready, BUT vertical scaling is possible?
Just transfer some of the simple calculations to the GPU using the PG-Strom extension, as I understand it, in this case, reports and complex filtering will work many times faster?

Or is it only good for processing big data and not good for production?
Who faced write whether there are pitfalls.
