Is PostgreSQL suitable for collecting game statistics?
We want to start collecting game statistics for further study. Will PostgreSQL be suitable for this, will there be problems in the future? I heard that PostgreSQL is one of the best free analogues on the market for SQL-like databases.
Server: Node;
Client: latest 2 versions of Chrome, Firefox;
About ~3000 people online (at the same time) on one server, there are ~10 of them in total.
While they are thinking about what information should be collected, and what information is not worth it. (this is mainly done by game analysts with designers);
At the moment, there is no statistics visualizer of our own, and we plan to simply transfer the data to the game designers as is, that is, the stats_db.sql files. Also, statistics will not be stored for a long time on a remote server, so as not to take up memory and server resources.
ps: if you can advise something adequate, I will be glad!
