Is offline address book via LDAP real in Outlook clients?

DD!
Recently, the question arose of switching from an Exchange mail server to a mail system based on a third-party platform, as this assembly, the iredmail free assembly was chosen for start, and as always, in order to increase the "various types of pleasures" of performance and speed up mail, it is necessary to leave the full functionality of the mail server MS, but implemented on a different platform, the question itself is:
Is the offline address book through LDAP real in Outlook clients?
If yes - give links, if not, how to present to users and management?
Thank you!

Do you think this is the most important factor for abandoning Exchange?
Delicious features cost money, and free cheese is in a mousetrap. Calculate that so many man-hours per month are spent on support for Exchange, using alternatives nX man-hours more/less times. The same goes for staff training, support training, rewriting instructions, the cost of implementing a new system. And now you have a weighty argument on whether it is worth changing something or not.
