Can a competent full stack (js+node.js) compete with cheap php? Or is freelancing not the right place to realize such opportunities?

Well, let's say I'm a good developer both in PHP and Node.js
And of course, when I first tried the node, it was "oh my God!!! where was this thing ten years ago ???"
In general, developing in PHP is easier, since it is less demanding on the quality of the code.
Developing in Node.js is easier, since it can do everything that PHP does, but many things can be done easier and faster.
CMS on Node.js is not as much as on PHP , but there are also plenty of shops.
