Is Linux necessary for C# developers?
I have been working on the gallery for three months already - I write in js with a standard stack. The salary is symbolic. All working computers only on Linux. Successfully passed the trial period, but during this time I hated Linux and everything connected with it.
According to colleagues, if I'm going to develop on the web, then I can't go anywhere. They advised me to look towards C# if I want to work only with Windows.
Do C# developers (of all gradations) need to somehow contact Linux-like systems? What will await me if I switch to C#?

Get this bullshit out of your head, install ubuntu and start smoking it. Your hatred for something came from not understanding how to work with it, I'm 100% sure. Well, I don't see any other reason. A programmer in this world can't get away from Linux already. At the beginning of my journey, I also had such crap that - "I don't like this technology, I don't understand it, I'll better learn this one, because it's clearer here." Just get over yourself and learn Linux. It just needs a task. Gather gentu, or arch, understanding will come along the way.
