Is knowledge of English important in programming?

Good afternoon. Tell me, how important is knowledge of English for programming with the same C ++, Java, php, etc.?.
And what would you advise to learn initially - Java or C ++? Since in the future I plan to write applications for Android systems and, possibly, iOS, Mac OS, Windows.

About English you have already been answered. and it is needed not in order to master the programming language, but in order to:
- read specifications
- freely read documentation on the libraries / frameworks used
- search for answers on forums, etc.
Conversational in this case is secondary, but this does not mean that it should be scored on.
Java is simpler, it has a lower level of occurrence than C++. But if you still plan to program under iOS, Mac OS in the future, then study C in parallel. Better at first without pluses. Then C++.

Yes, and the further into the forest the more you need.

1. You have to read constantly. You can do without conversational (but not necessary).
2. Java is easier. But this is a very tricky question.
