Is it worth taking the risk and dropping out of your studies in the humanities in favor of programming?
Hello. The essence of the question has already been beaten on the toaster, but I am not interested in moments such as: "where to teach", "how to teach", "tell me websites, books", etc. This is all I googled / google it myself. The question is more vital. Next, I will tell my little story and how I came to this question. You can skip straight to the second part.
1. I am 22, I have an army behind me and I am a cadet at the Ministry of Internal Affairs university in ds2. second course. future tracker. I'm fed up with all this, all these constructions, reports, commanders, formality, stupidity, hymns, Putin, and so on. I went to study here, because I thought that everything was normal in this system, I did not believe the reviews and advice, so to speak. As soon as I arrived, I understood the entire policy of the party. A year later, in general, I realized that it's not mine, it's all from the word at all. I don’t want to earn money in this way at all, well, I’m just sick of everything connected with the current university. If I complete my studies at this university, then another 5 years will need to work in the Ministry of Internal Affairs (they may not necessarily be assigned to a profession in their specialty). Also, if I leave now, then I will have to pay 250k for tuition (what the state spent on me is given 180k for each year, i.e. in the 5th year if you leave, then you know how much you have to pay). And I just like to work with technology than with people.
I can only go to another university to study law. specialty, but I don't want to. I won’t be able to enroll in any IT specialty, because I don’t know algebra from the word at all. I will not pass the exam on it. Yes, and already a family man practically, I can’t study and pay for my studies, we provide ourselves with a friend. I live, for now, on my scholarship of 14k and her salary.
2. Actually the question itself is whether it is worth continuing to learn PL (I have already spent a lot of time on codecademy, I read articles). I started coding a long time ago, but abandoned it due to my military service. This area is very attractive and I really like to write code (so far). Attracts frontend.
Will I be able to learn several languages in a year and a half without receiving a university diploma, without knowledge of the exact sciences (with the exception of basic computer science) and get a job as an intern/junior somewhere and, having gained experience, continue to work and provide for my family? And is the game worth the candle?

If you can earn 250k quickly and find a high paying job, then leave, if you can't, don't leave.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs has a department K - connected with crimes in the field of computer security. You can try to get there.
Html and js can be learned on your own in just 3 months if you learn 2-3 hours a day. You don't need to drop out of college to do this. Moreover, you can try to find a job remotely, because. front end is willingly given away, i.e. ideally, it should work without leaving the university and receiving a scholarship from the university to work also as a front end remotely and see if you like it or not and how it turns out in terms of money.
Front end is a profitable business, but you have to be a cool specialist.
