Is it worth taking an SSL certificate for a 4th level domain?

For the domain.tld domain, we buy a wildcard ssl certificate. Next, we rivet sites on subdomains of the 3rd level
news.domain.tld
docs.domain.tld ,
etc.,
there can be up to 10 such subdomains . www.news.domain.tld www.docs.domain.tld etc. and redirect to the corresponding 3rd-level domains. The gag is that for 4th-level domains, the purchased wildcard ssl certificate does not roll (logically) I see the following way out: 1. refuse to support www by spitting on SEO

2. to buy a separate certificate for each domain with www, which by itself will be accompanied by a complication of the web server configs What

to do?

just redirect www>>>3rd level domain. and that's it, you don't have to buy anything

Well, make them for free through lets encrypt, so that the SEOs don't fuck their brains.
Threat "there can be up to 10 such subdomains" yes, here it was possible not to buy a wildcard, but put everything in one
