Is it worth taking a video card after 2 years of mining?

Good afternoon guys) I want to buy an AMD xd7970 sapphire (not a turbine), the price is good, the seller says he can bring 5 different pieces to test and feel ... According to him, I was in mining for 2 years, then 8 months just lay, did not drive, and above 85 degrees the temperature did not rise. Their price is from 4k UAH, he gives for 3500 (regular) -3100 (turbine). Question - 2 years is a term?

And what difference does it make how many years she worked. If it was operated in inappropriate conditions, it would break in the first year.

2 years of mining is an excellent vidyashka benchmark. So the factory marriage in it is completely excluded. If it did not overheat and is now working (insert, run the test for 20-30 minutes, make sure that it is working), then take it.
But if it has been lying for a long time, there may be problems with cooling. You may need to replace / lubricate the cooler.

No. coolers wear out very much. If you can replace yourself in the future, then take it.

3500 UAH, for 7970? Are you seriously? A friend of mine in a local flea market took a couple of weeks ago r9 290 for 7k rubles in perfect condition.

Took 280x. The seller, in the best traditions of car hucksters, "grandmother went to church on weekends," assured that she was with her nephew, sometimes playing Tetris.
Checked for 40 minutes driving in crises, hairy bagels, GTA 5 and other indecencies - all in a bunch, no glitches / artifacts. As soon as the seller left - after 5-10 minutes of hard play - a driver error crashes. Moreover, the hairy donut twists without problems for hours, any tests - too, but crashes in games. I had to lower the frequency of the core, memory and power consumption by 5%. But still, the resulting performance came out much cheaper than boo Nvidia. I'm talking about new ones.

After two years of mining from the farm, I left 2 pieces of 7970 for myself, which I shamelessly drove, I gave 2 pieces of 7950 to the thug. They have
been in working computers for a little less than two years - the flight is normal.
I took several 5870s from a friend - one mines, spins a bagel, but artifacts in games. The second - the donut spins, mines, but in games it just hangs. The first helped warming up, the second did not touch.
Choose for yourself, I would take msi they and gigabytes were the coldest and quietest in mining.
(do not take a turbine - you will go crazy how it howls. 2 or 3 80/92mm fans are ideal)
