Is it worth switching to Laravel 5?

Are there any significant reasons for transferring your projects? For example, how much faster/slower is it than 4.2?

Costs. Definitely.
There are many different goodies in L5 (one improved DI is worth something).
Also, L5.1 is declared as LTS, which is very good for large projects.

It is impossible to say for sure. Depends on the packages used. But in L5, caching has been improved + caching of routes has been added, which significantly speeds it up.

Wrong question)) Correct: there is a project for 4.2 that solves such problems ...., in 4.2 it does not suit 1, 2, 3, what will 5.1 give when switching?
