Is it worth looking for mistakes when learning a language?

I'm learning Python from a book by Michael Dawson, and I'm typing code by hand, which regularly causes errors. Is it worth it to find and fix them? Or is it better to copy-paste the finished code at the beginning and understand how it works?

As for me, it is categorically not worth copy-pasting the code in the learning process - after all, by making and correcting mistakes, you learn much more efficiently. And it’s better to delve into the code if you type it manually.

Yes, there is no better.
You are not 6 years old. You have at least spent a few years at school. Should understand how you are used to learning - to read a textbook, solve problems or look for mistakes in others and correct them. Or just sat at the desk and played tic-tac-toe.
Do what you are used to. There is no better. The best is the enemy of the good

The error code will not work. You dial code for experience and learning. You do not type just to type - with this approach, you can type any text in Word.
