Is it worth learning react js in addition to yii2?

Hello everyone, users of the rect, tell me please, what is its charm? will it help me speed up the development of sites on yii2 and php, or nothing special. I just don’t want to spend a couple of weeks for deep knowledge, in order to understand whether I need it or not.

In life, in any area, if the question is to teach or not to teach, you definitely need to teach. You never know what will come in handy.

react is unlikely to speed up.

react is needed to create single page applications i.e. essentially for working with api. If you want to make a backend for all clients (android, ios) at the same time, then this is an ideal option.
React is good because you basically write in pure js (es6), if you know javascript, then the entry threshold is quite simple. In addition, you are simultaneously learning functional programming patterns (decorators, currying, middleware).
