Is it worth learning front-end from scratch in 2020?
Hello everyone, I'm super new to the it world so to speak. I started as a hobby to study everything in a row on various platforms such as: codeacademy, frecodecamp, etc., just because I wanted to and liked it. Most of all, I was fascinated by typesetting, well , SHORT .
In general, having googled, I decided that now it is impossible to find a job in the front-end position if you are newbies. And due to the fact that the job attracts a lot of newcomers, it’s scary to even imagine how many applicants for one vacancy.

I can say my opinion, the opinion of a person who started studying front-end six months ago.
It is worth starting only if you yourself have a huge interest in it. If you like doing it. Starting for the sake of money - no, it's not worth it. For half a year of study, I did not achieve anything financially. Of course, I did not study very hard, but believe me, studying is not so easy because of boredom.
If you still decide to start teaching, I will give advice. Spend a week or a month on a clear development plan, thought out to the smallest detail, look at the materials on this topic. A very important branch, in my opinion.
I wrote only my opinion and my experience gained in my life alone.
Go to a dozen joon interviews. You will be asked questions there. You will immediately understand what you are missing, then learn more, and still go to a few interviews. You can google anything
If you are a "super newbie", then you will have to look for a job in a year and a half. Minimum. And very few people need "pure" typesetters)) We need smart developers who can deal with problems.
Immediately understand that you need js, react / vue (and even better - angular). html/css now any SEO or content manager knows. Here they already wrote about a "clear development plan" - this is the most practical advice. And to start learning or not.. You need to learn all your life.
My experience in frontend: notepad++ and fantasy (sometimes perverted) from frameworks is only bootstrap. All. Three major projects, one for myself. Money is brought not by the frontends themselves, but by the projects for which they are made. The reason is that I don't trust freelance front-enders, and even more so studios because I don't want to pay for the brand...
