Is it worth keeping a game server on a LAN?

Good evening. Recently hosted by the Hetzners, I took a tariff for 50 euros per month, the costs are small, but still tangible. In the first month, in general, you had to pay 100 euros, half the amount was cut off for connecting the Dedik itself. Time passed, I closed the hosting. Now I am again puzzled by the question, spend 100 euros for 1 month and then pay 50 euros every month, or invest this money in your computer, making it better, in parallel, installing a game server on it. With regards to the assembly of the PC, I am finishing the upgrade of my computer, I just take the processor for similar needs.
RAM, Samsung [M378A1G43TB1-CTD] 16 GB, 8 GB for 2 sticks.
Motherboard, GIGABYTE B450 AORUS ELITE.
Processor, R7 1700 overclocked to 3.9.
A hard drive for 500 and a ssd for 120, I think it’s not worth talking about a video card and a power supply, it’s still not really necessary to parse the assembly for the server =)
Online is generally small, up to 50 people will be maximum. I also encountered problems with power outages, etc., how to solve such problems? With regards to electricity bills, I figured that I was attacking him all day and night, so at least there would be some benefit.
In general, is it worth hosting a game server on a LAN, what underwater ones can come out?

At home:
* the possibility of a power outage, which has already been encountered
* the loss of the Internet.
* round-the-clock noise from the computer (can be removed with a modern case)
For a load of 50 people, a powerful server is hardly needed, so there is no trouble with cooling.
In general, for your case, other pitfalls, if any, are insignificant.

Well, they can turn off the light or the network cable will break on the line.
Such are the pitfalls.

Well, the issues of hosting a server at home have already been discussed here many times. There are many pros and no less contras. It's like asking "Should I buy a car?"
Pro:
- you pay nothing to anyone for hosting
- the data is physically with you and there is an exact guarantee that no one will get access to it without you
(as we can see, the advantages are mostly geeky and paranoid. Therefore, geeks and paranoids usually keep the servers at home :) )
Contra:
- Eats electricity - Makes noise
(this is solved by reassembling in a desktop case - but this is an additional loot)
- Takes up space
- Tyrnet may disappear (disconnected from the dip, neighbors cut off ...)
- Electricity may disappear
- Backups on their own conscience
- Wearable parts of the server (screws, coolers) - on your own conscience
Well, in general, again, like with a car - there is no ability to repair and maintain it yourself - you constantly bash at the service station (hosting) :)
