Is it worth changing windows 8? and for what?

I asked myself this question with the advent of windows: a stupid interface, a lot of extra firmware, brakes spoil everything.
I don't play hi-end games for a long time (only LOL, heartstone and some indies), I also don't work in IT (I just study the web), I use only a browser, office programs, Skype.
Does it make sense to switch to any OS? and what?
I am interested in information protection support (antivirus software is very important to me), performance, support for basic household programs (office, anvir, torrents) and also some games (LOL, Heartstone, Steam-indie games)

stupid interface
More specifically? He doesn't look stupid to me.
Lots of extra firmware
Less than other systems. Although we still need to decide what to consider superfluous.
brakes ruin everything.
You either have an old slow computer or a weak gasket between the chair and the monitor. On normal computers, competent users have no brakes.

Agree completely with @OnYourLips . Update to 8.1, "all these tiles" have become more beautiful. As for the brakes, you really have a dreee computer, if on my Eee PC of the younger model, 8 works smoothly and quickly.

Generally the problem was with the installation. rearranged the windows and nothing slows down. although I still don't like the interface
