Is it worth building a mobile application for 1C using 1C tools?
I heard that 1C has the ability to quickly develop a mobile application. It even has its own form configurator. The output is a ready-made APK for Android.
Is it worth using a generator of such mobile applications or is it recommended to develop a mobile client and the corresponding HTTP service in 1C from scratch?

It is recommended to use the technology that you know how to use!
In terms of file size and speed, it is better than self-written Java. But 1C will be cooler in terms of development speed and the ability to make a user interface rich in functions.
Using one or another development tool, you need to understand the purpose of the application.
1C, which one?
1C:Enterprise https://v8.1c.ru/tekhnologii/mobilnye-tekhnologii-1s/
1C:Bitrix https://www.1c-bitrix.ru/products/mobile/
And you need to use what allows you to solve a business problem. Lego and simple.
To develop a mobile version of the application, a regular configurator is used (on which configurations of applied solutions are created), the configuration has the "Purpose of use" property. If it is set to "Application for a mobile platform", then some typical handlers and the form itself change. That is, it is already adapting to the mobile phone.
To build the original application, there is a special configuration from 1C. But personally, it was more convenient for me just by loading the configuration from the server. That is, there are 2 ways to work: building the APK or installing the platform itself on the phone, and a base is already created in it, the conf for which is loaded from the publication (Apache / IIS)
