Is it right to start the path to the frontend with Bitrix?

I found courses for a 1c programmer apprentice in my city, called, asked if there were any similar courses on the web. They answered that there is - a student of the Bitrix programmer. They threw off the training materials: training begins with the content manager, ends with the developer of the bitrix framework.
I googled a little what kind of Bitrix, including on this site, and now I am tormented by vague doubts.

Is it worth it to start your career as a web developer this way?
For me, this start looks tempting, because if I pass the exam successfully, the company will take me for an internship, and there will already be room to grow.

But even somehow everyone is skeptical against this cms

if you want a specific frontend, then Bitrix did not rest at all: there is an emphasis on the backend.
