Pascal

Is it rational to study MODERN Pascal, even if it is needed for something?

As far as I know, modern versions of Pascal have the functionality I need, and for what I need, as they explained to me, it is best suited for it. But the question is - is it worth learning a programming language, which I personally sympathize with, for the sake of a large, but still one task? Personally, I like it and would like to learn it, but I don’t want to make efforts that will not be useful in the future, if it can be solved by other means, but longer and more difficult

@amark

don't listen to people who say that some language is perfect)))
Homon, no offense.
A bunch of articles on the Internet with language ratings. Python, by the way, often goes to the forefront.
But, each language has a more specific task area for it. Therefore, if you have decided on the range of future tasks, I recommend starting from it in the search for a language.
Pascal is more suitable for elementary programming classes.
