Is it possible to write software for a vending machine in c#?

There is a vending machine with software on Linux. Printer, scanner, bill acceptor.
The equipment is quite normal, the manufacturer's drivers for different systems are available.
The existing software does not suit for a number of reasons.
Is it possible to write a control program for such a device in c#?

1.5 years worked on the project - automation of the parking system (loops, barriers, card readers, payment terminals...). Everything was on .net
Since you have directly solved the work with the hardware itself (drivers), c# is quite suitable
