Is it possible to write a script to check the speakers on the device?

The situation is this: when you connect a video projector via hdmi, the speaker starts to hiss on it. You need to get into the sound property, select the device and start on the "Check speakers" button, then on the left or right speaker button. The speaker is fed sound and the hiss disappears. All OK. There is no other faster way to remove hiss, trust me. I have this because of a half-working video card.
Question: Is it possible to write such a script? If there is a link, please provide. There are two ways: get the device id and check the speakers, as through the panel, or apply any of your sound to the device. What do you say?
