Is it possible to work in the West in the field of IT without a diploma?

Hello. That's the point - I'm studying management in St. Petersburg, I finished the 1st year. I'm thinking of applying for "Information Systems and Technologies" at the Polytechnic University. Attention questions!
1. Will it be possible to work abroad (Europe, USA) in the field of IT, but without a diploma in the field of IT (with a manager's diploma), with high-quality knowledge obtained independently?
2. Students at the Polytechnic University in this direction - how is it there? Is it worth going there?

Getting a job in the West without a tower is no problem at all, but if you are already there, for example:
- close relatives or friends invited to live
- studied at a local university (a year of study and residence for foreigners is at least 10k greenery, the cheapest option is Germany - the tower is free, but you need to have 8k euros on your account for living and know German at the b1-b2 level, and these are far from basic levels, and this can be difficult, because IT people usually learn English)
- and similar major situations.
If you are not there, but "here", then you will have problems precisely at the entrance to them when interviewing with a visa officer (reasons? an immigrant chtol?) and obtaining a work permit (without a piece of paper (tower) you are a poop) - a visa officer at will give permission to work withoutprofile diploma. I also know that there is an exception in the USA - without a tower you can come to work there, but if there is iron evidence that you have been working for 12 years in your profile. For Germany, this is 5 years + techie (college).
If you have accumulated a tidy sum and there is an opportunity to go to study there, you need to prove ties with your homeland, as a rule, this is a wife / children / elderly parents, be sure to have a hut or business. If nothing keeps you here, then you are a potential immigrant and unwanted guest.
Also, if there is no strong evidence of where the grandmas came from for the first year of study, and where you will take them for the next years (as a rule, the student is sponsored by parents from their homeland), then they may also be refused.
That is, if you are not a major, you need to at least have white money in the amount of at least 20k, but this is the minimum. Ideally, according to my calculations for Canada, this is 50k, for the USA even more. For Germany, 20k is enough, but you need to know German, all undergraduate programs are only in it. In English, only the master's degree.
So even if there are grandmas, then it’s stupid to “buy” life in the west through student immigration for 20k-50k will not work, you will first need to prove to them that you are not a deer, it’s not without reason that there is an investment program to “buy” a residence permit in the west economy, but there is already other money (hundreds of thousands of dollars).
I know what I'm talking about, because I saw real stories of how boys and girls majors were denied, seeing that for their age there were unrealistic amounts of money on their account, and for some reason their parents did not want to show their income to sponsor their studies.
How are things in such Western countries as the Czech Republic, Finland? I didn’t study it, but something tells me that the requirements are the same everywhere + their language is simply unrealistic, so as a rule I looked only at English-speaking countries, tk. English for an IT specialist can be said to be the second native language, and it’s not for nothing that the whole world is switching to it, because. it's really simple
. All information was obtained from both Russian-language immigrant forums and official English-language sources. I have been interested in the topic for a couple of years now.

Greetings.
1 - you can work with an incomplete higher education if you have a proven work experience in the field of IT. This will be the only reason for the employer to hire you and also for you to obtain a visa that gives you the right to work abroad. I can’t say exactly how many years of experience are needed, for sure there are standards for the USA and Europe.
There is a friend who moved to the USA, at one time studied for 2 years at the State University of Kemerovo, and had a total work experience of more than 10 years.
2 - about St. Petersburg education in the field of IT, only a positive opinion, what are the results of the ACM-ICPC World Programming Championship this year, you can read here: habrahabr.ru/company/ibm/blog/258393

Yes. But there may be visa issues. In Asia, no problem.

Everything is possible if your level of knowledge is really good. But, usually the presence of specialized education significantly increases the chances.

I am writing from Germany. If through acquaintances, then it’s really possible to find one without a tower. But here the competition is too high (at least in the region where I live). And most likely, without a tower, your resume will receive a letter with a kind answer and a direction to the most famous road.
Not necessarily a high school, usually it is written like this, one or another developer is required with a successfully completed university (from Bachler of Science), or Aubildung, as a software developer, Ausbildung is training at a company for 3-3.5 years in a narrow specialization and a small-average salary . And it’s not easy to find him either) I have a kind daddy, somewhere with 20 refusals. In general, I know people who have 200 rejected resumes in their boxes. In large enterprises, evaluations decide a lot. Sometimes they even write impudently, saying that your average was supposed to be no higher than 2.0 (1 gut 6 is bad).
So you be the judge. You can formally find a job without a diploma, but who will give it to you if you have no connections? You may not even be invited to an interview. Unless you are very persistent and you have your own tricks, and I can no longer argue which ones :)
ahda and language. As I've noticed all the time, a lot of people demand excellent English "And" German.

To work in the US, you need at least an H1 visa. To obtain it, the employer must convince the immigration authorities that you are a person with the necessary qualities, which are difficult to find in the USA (for the same salary). And here a diploma (or better, a PhD diploma) will be very useful.
