Is it possible to use LoDash with Underscore when working with Backbone?

Just started getting familiar with Backbone. The documentation states that Backbone has a dependency on Underscore. I'm used to using LoDash, so I thought, is it possible to use it instead of Underscore?

As it is written at Backbone website "Mimics of the Underscore and jQuery APIs, such as Lo-Dash and Zepto, will also tend to work, with varying degrees of compatibility.", i.e. 100% compatibility is not guaranteed, but in practice there is unlikely to be any - problems. I use Backbone + LoDash myself.
