Is it possible to use Grunt without Gruntfille?

In general, I do not see any practical sense in this. grunt is needed just the same so that we would have one file (ala makefile) that will group tasks. If you don't need tasks, then you don't need grunt. All those operations that are usually stuffed into a grant can be done without it in the terminal.
