Is it possible to use flexbox/ html5 for grid layout?

I can’t understand in any way whether it is possible to use flexbox / html5 for a grid in layout? If not, what will replace all this? Typesetting with divs and inline blocks?

Support in 96% of browsers with prefixes - you can safely use it.
An exception is if the customer has a significant share of traffic with old IE (below version 11).

It is possible , in the meaning there is such a possibility .
You can't if you need to support browsers where flexbox doesn't work .
