Is it possible to unpack wmprotect?

There is a simple application (I think it is written in C # or Delphi) that is of interest to climb in the source code, but the nasty wmprotect interferes.
What can I do? (I don't know the version) die doesn't show the version and other analyzers don't.
I think one of the new versions.
The essence of the application is that it tries to log in to the api by key (in fact, the useless api is used in fact only for authorization).
And is it possible to do something if you go to the hosts file and set up a redirect from one site to another?
(Or does it not work like that?)

For decompilation, you need .exe before getting into wmprotect.
On the Internet, I saw that they went into OllyDbg and, with the help of hands or a script, put a breakpoint on some memory addresses :)

I also saw offers to unpack applications for money, but apparently no one responded.
Is it all so hopeless?

@pfemidi

Maybe not w mprotect, but still v mprotect? In any case, I would start by looking at what they say about him on Tuts 4 You .
